Christian Martinen, LL.M. Esq.
The head of the team and founder is Christian Philip Martinen, LL.M, Esq. who holds a German law degree focusing on European/International Law and Corporate Law as well as a Masters degree in United States Legal Studies (LL.M.) focusing on Entertainment Law, Multi Media Law, and Intellectual Property Law. He is a member of the New York State Bar.
In addition, Christian possesses a business degree and extensive experience in the entertainment industry. His practice includes trademark, copyright, film production, film finance and talent representation. Christian's unique background in producing, writing and directing provides him with a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the practical, legal, and business aspects of the entertainment industry, including an understanding of the needs of creative individuals.
Joy de Leon, Esq.
The legal division is headed by Joy de Leon, Esq., who is a member of the California State Bar. A native Californian, she received her law degree from the UCLA School of Law where she specialized in Entertainment Law, Copyright, and Trademark. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from UCLA.
Prior to law school, Joy served as an aide to U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-California) on Capitol Hill and in San Francisco, California. She has a background in litigation, having represented both individual plaintiffs and corporate defendants alike. To CPM, she brings her distinct knowledge of California entertainment law, media, and politics.
